INGREDIENTS
- 180g Organic Wisdom Bajra Flakes
- 1 tablespoon cold-pressed oil
- Β½ teaspoon mustard seeds
- Β½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- 8β10 curry leaves
- 2 green chillies, finely chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- ΒΌ cup green peas (optional)
- ΒΌ teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons roasted peanuts
- 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
- Fresh grated coconut for garnish (optional)
PREPARATION
1.Prepare the Organic Wisdom Bajra Flakes
Rinse the Bajra Flakes gently under running water and let them rest for 3β5 minutes until they soften. Avoid soaking them for too long.
2.Prepare the Tempering
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Once they crackle, add curry leaves and green chillies.
3.Cook the Vegetables
Add chopped onions and sautΓ© until translucent. Stir in green peas and cook for 2β3 minutes.
4.Season the Poha
Add turmeric powder and salt. Mix well to coat the vegetables evenly.
5.Combine the Bajra Flakes
Add the softened Bajra Flakes and roasted peanuts. Gently mix everything together and cook on low heat for 2β3 minutes until well combined.
6.Serve and Enjoy
Turn off the heat and add lemon juice. Garnish with chopped coriander and fresh grated coconut. Serve hot with tea or enjoy as a wholesome breakfast.
