Multi Millet Pasta with Creamy Veggie Sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • 180g Organic Wisdom Multi Millet Pasta

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • ½ cup broccoli florets

  • ½ cup sweet corn

  • ½ cup diced bell peppers

  • ½ cup fresh cream or milk

  • ¼ cup grated cheese (optional)

  • ½ teaspoon mixed herbs

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh parsley or coriander for garnish

PREPARATION

Cook the Organic Wisdom Multi Millet Pasta

Bring water to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Add the Multi Millet Pasta and cook according to the package instructions (typically 3–5 minutes). Drain and keep aside.

Prepare the Creamy Veggie Sauce

Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Cook the Vegetables

Add broccoli, sweet corn, and bell peppers. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crunchy.

Make the Creamy Sauce

Pour in the fresh cream (or milk), then add mixed herbs, black pepper, and salt. Stir well and let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes. Add grated cheese if desired and stir until melted.

Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked Multi Millet Pasta to the sauce and gently toss until the pasta is evenly coated.

Serve and Enjoy

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or coriander and an extra sprinkle of herbs or cheese if desired.

Variations

  • Add protein such as paneer, tofu, grilled chicken, or chickpeas for a wholesome meal.

  • Mix in mushrooms, spinach, zucchini, or cherry tomatoes for extra nutrition and colour.

  • Add chilli flakes or peri-peri seasoning for a spicy twist.

  • Replace cream with Greek yogurt or coconut milk for a healthier variation.

  • Do not overcook the pasta to maintain its perfect texture.

  • Reserve a little pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency if needed.

  • Pair with a fresh salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
