Sprouted Jowar Banana Choco Muffins

Bake time: 20-25 minutes

Serves: 6–8 muffins

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Organic Wisdom’s Sprouted Jowar Flour
  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1/4 cup jaggery powder or coconut sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional but encouraged)
  • 2 tbsp oil or ghee
  • 1/4 cup milk or oat milk or almond milk (adjust as needed)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a muffin tray or use silicone muffin cups.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add jaggery, oil, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine sprouted jowar flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Spoon the batter into muffin molds (fill about 3/4th).
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let them cool and enjoy your millet-powered muffins!

Tips & Variations:

  • Add chopped walnuts or seeds for crunch.
  • Can be stored in the fridge for 3–4 days — great for healthy snacking!
